The future is now
MEASURED DURABILITY. PROVEN SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability isn’t claimed:
It’s proven.
At OSA, we understand that sustainable concrete isn’t just about reducing CO₂ emissions during manufacturing—it’s about lasting longer under real-world conditions, without the need for overdesign or premature repairs.
That’s why we developed CDM – Concrete Durability Monitoring, a tool that makes it possible to measure and predict the service life of concrete using real data, evaluating the most common degradation mechanisms: chloride penetration and carbonation.
Key Metric: CO₂ per Service Year
The environmental impact of a structure should be measured in relation to its durability. CDM enables you to calculate the CO₂ equivalent per year of service, offering a much more accurate and responsible view of the true environmental impact of each construction solution.
A structure that lasts 100 years with less cement can have up to 40% lower annual CO₂ compared to one that needs repair after just 20 years.

Mix and Material Optimization
Thanks to its laboratory application, CDM helps validate the performance of:
- Low-carbon cements
- Recycled aggregates
- Corrosion inhibitors
This allows you to make decisions based on real data, not assumptions, promoting the use of more sustainable materials without compromising durability.
Avoiding Overdesign
Lack of control over durability is often compensated for by increasing cover thickness, cement content, or making structures more robust than necessary. CDM replaces that uncertainty with real information, eliminating unnecessary overdesign and thus reducing resource consumption.
